Each year, I like to celebrate the coming of the holiday season by hosting a client appreciation event and giving back to my sphere by offering a pumpkin or apple pie for their Thanksgiving table. That is my way of sending my love to their homes. In advance, I send out invitation cards announcing the date and time of the event. Clients send a reply with the pie of their choice. Many times, I hand deliver the pies because of scheduling conflicts or other reasons why my clients can’t be at the event. Nevertheless, I go out of my way to make sure my friends, family, and clients know that they mean a lot to me. For those who are present – we celebrate with a bit of wine & cheese with our conversations and toast the afternoon away.
